Temporary Foreign Worker Program

National List of Commodities for the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program and the Agricultural Stream of the Pilot Project for Occupations Requiring Lower Levels of Formal Training

On August 1, 2011, an updated list of eligible commodities under the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP), took effect. This standard list of commodities is extended to all provinces participating in the Program. Wages for these commodities are indicated below and also apply to workers hired for these commodities under the Agricultural Stream of the Pilot Project for Occupations Requiring Lower Levels of Formal Training (NOC C and D).

Note: to hire agricultural workers for an occupation or in a commodity that is not part of the list above, employers may still do so through the regular stream of the NOC C and D Pilot Project.
