Mission and Vision of the Canada Education Savings Program (CESP)
Vision
All children have savings for their future well-being.
Mission
We encourage Canadians to plan and save for children's post-secondary education, from early childhood, in registered education savings plans through incentives and we deliver the incentives for the Registered Disability Savings Plan.
About the Program
The Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG) program underscores government recognition that post secondary education is a national priority, and that learning through full and part-time study, and in a variety of settings, such as, universities, community colleges, vocational and technical institutes, and CEGEPs is vital in providing all Canadian children with an equal opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of an evolving workforce and a changing economy.
Our goal is to increase Canadians' awareness of the importance of contributing to an RESP for their children's education, and to encourage greater participation of all Canadians to the program.
